Most of the time my professional music making is done from behind the drum kit, from here I try to approach things with a wider perspective than stereotypically drummers are given credit for ("How do you know when a drummers at the door.." etc). I try to make the instrument as musical as possible through reacting to what is happening around to deliver the best performance. Having never been one for the limelight, be it live or in the studio, I'll aim to deliver the perfect foundation to a track every time.

Being a fluent sight-reader has also landed me lots of professional theatre contracts all over the north east. Last year I had the privilege to be part of the band for the UK tour of 'Knights Of Music' with Phillip Schofield. The tour marked Phillips return to stage and will be touring again this Spring, take a look at the show below!

Please take a look at the videos below to watch some recent live performances. You can also listen further and even get some more details on the equipment I use on my 'Home Studio' page.

Away from the stage I am a huge fan of being in the studio and finding the perfect sound for each track. After playing on and engineering many records I have been fortunate to have had lots of national radio time, play on charted albums and be featured on many TV shows and adverts, including The Only Way is Essex, Sunday Brunch, MTV Catfish, Emmerdale, Eastenders, Countryfile and Made in Chelsea.
